A new role of many of importance, who will control the Gaza Strip at the end of the war? Timing of the rapture.

The role of the powers that be, say the end of the Gaza war must be controlled by anyone “else “, Just not Israel!

I find it interesting due to the fact, by using Scripture and understanding end-time prophecies readying to be fulfilled clearly states that Israel will be in control of this land, Gaza, and many other areas surrounding Israel.

Are we truly ready, willing to accept we know the outcome of this war between Israel and Hamas terrorist organization as who will be in control.

Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 tells us of a sudden destruction. Focusing on the sudden destruction is another prophecy that has not been fulfilled. Let's take a look at it, and that is Psalm 83 where Asaph the prophet describes a time and a place where the Jews God interferes. This interference is done in one day, it's massive and will be seen as a supernatural, divine intervention. Remember I said are we ready and willing to accept. This brings us to Zechariah 12, yet another unfulfilled end-time prophecy will be fulfilled in one day. Amazing.

Now, not yet knowing the timing of the end of the war however, we clearly know the outcome. Now the timing, Paul says when they say (peace and safety) then the sudden destruction. this to me again it would be clear they would be saying peace and safety at the end of the war regardless of how we get there.

At this time, I see two outcomes that would bring an end to the war, that doesn't mean there couldn’t be other outcomes this is just the two that I see at the present time. Number one, Israel continues with its battles within Gaza until Hamas is clearly defeated. may take a while. Number two, Israel locates the hostages and eliminates the senior military commander Sinwar. Yay success! Either way would they be saying peace and safety?

Now, let's talk about yet another unfulfilled prophecy that Paul is talking about with the Thessalonians and that is the rapture, where the dead rise first and then the Harpazo, for those that are alive are taken up suddenly, as taken out of danger quickly. Now go back to the sudden destruction, taken out of danger, is it possible the end of the Gaza war is the timing of the rapture?

Paul did also say I need not have to write unto you for you will know.

1 Thessalonians 5:1, paraphrasing of course.

Does the Bible make any reference to "Netanyahu" in regards to what's happening right now in Israel?

I agree its possible that when Israel think there is peace after taking over Gaza. The possibility of the rapture being the "sudden destruction" could very well be possible because if we can just imagine planes falling out of the sky, cars crashing etc..that would be considered sudden destruction.

Definitely food for thought on the timing of events with the war ending, land control, and then the rapture. Yes, I agree, Ross, we do know the 'end of the story', but, we don't know at what points it will all occur. Israel's enemies continue to scheme and plan for their own agendas and remove Israel from the map in the end. I do accept the situation as you describe, Ross, through the scriptures and faith in Jesus...it is a 'weary' trek, too, I must admit for me...patience is my focus. I pray everyday for strength in discernment and understanding. God bless you and all who come to this safe space to encourage each other with their comments. We…
