Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi on last leg of talks with those involved in the Strait of Hormuz. Pakistan, Oman and Russia. As of today, Russia talks yet to come, as Araghchi is on the final leg of his regional tour.
Araghchi says; recent consultations in Pakistan reviewed conditions under which Iran-US talks could resume, Tehran will seek to secure its rights and national interests. Iran and Oman will buddy-up to ensure safe transit and protect shared interests in the waterway. Nothing said about US interests.
In a separate report, Iran’s foreign minister has given a new deal to the U.S. to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and bring an end to the war. The proposal is to bypasses disagreements with the Iranian regime about the scope of nuclear concessions. Then at a later date Tehran can make a deal with Washington. Other negotiations for a later date and in stages.
IS THIS ALL THEY CAN COME UP WITH?
A most desperate and pathetic one-sided attempt by Iran, and this is what Trump has to confront. Wow.
What is the outcome at this time?
If Trump stands his ground, bombs away, of course Iran could attempt a preemptive strike. We’ll soon see.
