The scattered and persecuted Jews.
The history of the Jews in the United States dates back to the 1600s and 1700s. Jewish communities have existed in the United States since colonial times, and Jewish individuals lived in various cities before the American Revolution. Early Jewish communities were primarily composed of immigrants from Brazil, Amsterdam, or England, many of them fled from the Inquisition.
In 1776 on July 4 the Constitution was enacted and America formed.
Christianity profoundly influenced the founding of America, shaping its laws, governance, and moral framework through biblical principles and the faith of its early settlers and Founding Fathers.
Early Colonial Foundations
The Christian influence on America began with early settlers, such as the Pilgrims in 1620, who sought religious freedom and framed their first political document, the Mayflower Compact, as a covenant under God for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith.
(1620)
Early colonial charters and constitutions, like the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut (1639), acknowledged God’s providence as the foundation of political order, reflecting a covenantal model inspired by Scripture.
Puritans envisioned their communities as a “shining city on a hill,” emphasizing moral and religious accountability in civic life.
America during end times and for ever after will be the foundation and a safe haven for the base of Christianity of the Gentile world.
