Netanyahu, the war will end only under Israel’s conditions: 1 Hamas lays down its weapons, 2 Gaza is demilitarized, 3 Hamas no longer has any governmental or military capabilities. These are our basic conditions. Netanyahu pledges to defeat Hamas one way or another.
Hamas sticking point. Israel must permanently end its war against Hamas. Opposes a large Israeli military presence in Gaza and demanding the free flow of aid into Gaza.
The PM has made it very clear, if a 60-day truce is put in place and the 10 alive and 18 dead are returned, Hamas must negotiate the remaining hostages or the war will continue.
Hamas main sticking point. For the war to continue is unacceptable to Hamas.
Netanyahu, we’re going to defeat this terrorist organization and get our hostages back one way or another.
As of today, the war in the Gaza Strip goes on.
It’s been said, Trump administration does not intend to allow Israel to resume fighting in Gaza after a potential ceasefire, Netanyahu promised earlier Thursday that Israel would return to war if Hamas does not give in to its demands.
A slim chance a ceasefire could be reached. The issue of whether Israel will be able to restart its military campaign after the proposed 60-day ceasefire and the release of 10 living and 18 dead hostages is one of the main sticking points in talks, which have failed to produce a breakthrough.
Again, we’re at a standstill.
This strategy is doomed...Hamas knows Israel will cave to Hamas' demands..you don't negotiate with evil. This war has become so politicized such that there are no real wins that can produce the 'peace and safety' for Israel. It's only a muse and a temportary situation at that. God will need to step in and say 'enough is enough' ! And, He will in His perfect timing. 🙏
