Opposition chief Lapid says US-Iran deal ‘doesn’t achieve any of Israel’s war goals’
TOI -14 June 2026, 12:51 am /June 13 6:30 EST
Opposition Leader Yair Lapid slams the emerging US-Iran deal, tweeting that it “doesn’t achieve any of Israel’s war goals — the regime survives, the missile program is intact, and Iran can rebuild the nuclear program.”
Lapid claims this is a “total failure” by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that turns Israel into a “protectorate that receives instructions regarding its national security,” criticizing the premier’s “inability to turn military achievements into strategic successes.”
Psalm 83

Moreso than ever, we need to be praying for the peace of Jerusalem, as we continue to pray for the leaders in Israel, as well as the leaders in the world. This is a fallen world, but we are also the restraining force in this world by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have work to do, and we need to continue to spread the gospel, and praying for all those that are not born again. The harvest is great, and the workers few. This is an indictment to believers in Jesus Christ, who do not take up their cross and follow Jesus. Keep praying brothers and sisters.
All you really need to know is IF IRAN agrees to the deal then it is very bad for Israel. Since Iran has sworn to wipe Israel off the map, they would never agree to a deal that inhibits that ability. This very thing occurred to me today. Also if the rumors are true that the deal includes a ceasefire with hesbollah and Hamas then that is very very bad concedering that Israel was not even involved in the terms of the deal or has say on it. Therefore once again the world is strong arming Israel and that is not good.
