To war or not to war.

Trump reportedly met with senior advisers at Camp David, giving options for how the US will proceed in terms of resuming intense military action against Iran ahead of the country’s midterm elections. However, shortly after, the president announced on Truth Social that those plans have been canceled.

To go to war.

High gasoline and diesel prices it caused, are a prime reason why the GOP faces uphill or tight races in states like Iowa, Ohio and North Carolina that Trump easily won two years ago and the possibility of loss of control of Congress. All this a striking sign that Trump has become trapped (bogged down) in his own Middle East entanglement, which could be devastating to the republican party. A war would mitigate this.

To stop the war.

Being reported by mediators that Iran is wanting to come back to the negotiating table. - And I wonder why it is that I'm picturing Lucy on one knee staging a football and Charlie Brown running full blast getting ready to kick it.

One thing is for sure and that is time is running out. The US administration is going to have to make up its mind much sooner than later one way or the other.

Israel striking Iran in coming weeks could delay Israeli election. Earlier this week, senior US officers told IDF that they were instructed by the White House and the Pentagon to prepare for a massive attack on Iran within the next three weeks. It's to be understood that such an attack could cause the general election in Israel, slated for October 27, to be postponed,

It becomes almost obvious that a war is going to start, we just don't know the day or the hour.

If the last 8 months or so has shown us anything it is that you never know what Trump will do. In the past he has said one thing and then did the opposite in regards to this conflict. I am also truly amazed that Iran has not launched a preemptive attack yet. In my opinion this is a big sign that God is orchestrating events, He is in control. One day at a time. We let go and let God.
